Was dropped for the keyword from 13 to 140 position

    I target the keyword "lose poker why" on main page. Today after google index most pages of a site having a link with keyword anchor text in menu and H1 text on the top of main page dropped to 140 position. And also dropped for another keyword.
    Can anyone help me? Link in the sig.

    How old is site. I have found that new site SERP is pretty yoyo in the first year of existence.


    You should fix your Meta tags. Keyword is pretty useless now a days. Description in meta tags give best results.

    Also, get more backlinks with your desired keywords as anchor text.

    Agree with Camay123.

    You need to get more backlinks with the keywords as the anchor text. That is one of the reasons a site could drop dramatically.

    Your site is only 5 months old. I've often seen Google rank new sites fairly high for certain keywords, then drop them like a brick after a while.

    Just be patient, build your backlinks, continue adding content to the site, and keep your SEO activities clean (no black-hat crap).

    BTW, the keyword "lose poker why" is an extremely rare search term, at least using the Overture Keyword Selector Tool. (in fact, it shows up with no results)

    yeah a lot of backlinks with the same subject should definately help, also page with high pr.

    I use info in you blog http://www.googlewatchdog.info/2007/08/my-on-page-keyword-optimization.html to optimize for keyword. May google also drop me because of too many keyword in alt tags or something like that? I apply it to all images on the site.
    As for anchor text i rated 2 for it, today dropped to 9 place.

    Absolute crap even my sig on this forum rated on 120 place and second on 145 right after site.

    I use digital point Keyword Suggestion Tool is says lose poker why searched 80 times a day, in google over 30-40 times, or this incorrect?
