No absolutely not traffic is not a constant thing sometimes it increases dramatically and some times drops.
well, three people have website that using xml feed to display TLA ads, all droping their traffic, but one person with one site have different result, i think I need others dp members that using xml feed to display TLA to vote here, just to make it clear.. anybody else use TLA?
If you are linking out to many unrelated sites, you will get penalized for sure. The DP coop network was effected in the same way IMHO with sites displaying coop ads.
the risk is not worthy, sure that I will loose my earning by not displaying TLA code, but I will loose more if I keep displaying TLA code, my traffic will go down, and my GA earning will go down too. my GA earning is three time bigger that TLA so it is not worthy for me

Man, there's a helluva lot of supersitious thinking and unmitigated nonsense in this thread... Google has said very plainly that their policy on paid links is to disable the ability of those links to pass PR. They do not ban or penalize sites for publishing those ads. They do not ban or penalize sites for buying TLA ads as advertisers. They might ban or penalize TLA itself for how they advertise their service (i.e., as PR sellers). They won't and cannot take action against an advertising business or its advertisers or publishers. That would get them hit with litigation before the news even hit the wires.
That's correct. Take a look at the results for "text links ads" on Google and the top result in adwords is an ad for TLA
I dont think so, you drop got nothing to do with TLA or even buying links all what Google can do is to devalue the links pointing to your site if the links is paid links, so keep building links and you will recover.
Actually dude you are wrong. As a webmaster the things you do on YOUR website can cause penalties and such. Matt Cutts has said time and time again linking out to lots of irrelevant links will cause issues.
LOL! It's Text Link Ads. You can Google it for the website. I used to run them on my website(s). Now I decided not to since it is quite hard to get any publishers to sign on. Not much comments on whether or not the traffic dropped for using TLA. I certainly did not notice anything. Regards.
Maybe so but he's correct. Matt Cutts has spoken repeatedly about link buying and selling and has repeatedly talked about discounting paid links and preventing them from passing PageRank. Because paid links often - and theoretcially always - have two purposes, advertising and increasing PR, except in the most blatant cases, Google is not going to penalize sites for buying and selling links because that would leave them open to restraint of trade litigation. They can't prevent you from buying text links for advertising; all they can do is to take whatever actions are available to them to disallow the buyer from any PageRank benefits. I think there is an important phrase in Cutts' comments: "reputable sites" If you are providing unique and relevant content for your visitors and aren't just a spammy link farm, it seems to me you have nothing to worry about.
This is very interesting because as of 8 days ago my sites stats and uniques dropped from an average f 220 a day, to 85 a day, i have been steadily receiving an average of 220 a day for approx 9 months now and all of a sudden, this month my stats drop so rapidly. I have not many any alterations to my site, to my hosting, to my domain, as far as im aware, nothing has changed on my site which could have caused such a sudden loss in rankings. i dont understand it.
TLA is bad.... my advice is to do it yourself AND bypass them. If you want your site to rank I would stay clear of buying links from them or displaying their ads on your site.
That's a huge drop! How do you normally get your traffic? I can't imagine that the TLA ad could cause such a huge drop, if at all.
