Hello everyone i currently bought some stock for my business from US and it was sent via USPS, the USPS site is very slow at updating the tracking, im from the UK, is there a UK site i can view the tracking number on now. Anyhelps appreciated Thanks
Correct me if I'm wrong... but USPS is like our Royal Mail and they work together for international packages. So, you may well be able to track your package via the Royal Mail website. Let us know how you get on.
I've had a similar problem. The item was shipped from Minnesota in the USA, the tracking code worked for one day and now it says the item doesn't exist! The package is coming to the UK.
I didn't even realize that USPS offered a tracking service outside of the United States. If they do, I would imagine it would just be delivery tracking, so it would be more useful to the sender to prove that he package was sent and delivered. It's also possible that it's only tracked until it leaves the United States and is handed off to another postal service. UPS is the way to go if you need full service tracking.
What did they give you for tracking info? USPS has limited tracking and I'm not sure that international tracking is even available. Typically, it just the Confirmation Number that is used, which only "tracks" starting and ending points.
Global Express Guaranteed is I believe otherwise you get a customs #, which depending on the receiving parties customs department may or may not update it in the "system"
USPS updates tracking once a day. Once it reaches the UK you should be able to track it using your local postal website with the usps tracking number.
