Find out if my website is hand edited

I've heard that some people from Google can edit your website, and remove it from rankings. How do I know if my website was hand edited ?

That's an option.

I know someone who actually tried this, but unfortunately never received an answer. From what I've read, you can run a search for your actual domain name, or company/brand name. If you don't rank for them, then there is a good chance that you've been hand-edited. But, as a side note, I've also heard that you can disappear for your own brand name from an algorithm change as well.

I don't think there is a sure-fire way to tell. I may be wrong though...

This is interesting trichnosis...this is the first time I've heard that Google doesn't hand-edit. Care to elaborate? Because if you're right, then what I've been reading has been false up until now.

of course they do....
to find out if your site is hand edited try searching on google for your domain name
if is not a very competitive term you should be first
if you are not showing up anywhere, you might have some problems...
