I hope you have a good (and strong) reason to call them ignorants other than that they just disagree with your opinion ;)

I do feel sorry for every innocent soul that dies every day in a cruel world that doesn't have mercy on weak people and where people listen and care only for those who have powers.

I feel sorry for those who die in every single war where they didn't have the choice to get into that war.

I do feel sorry for every mother that lost her child because she didn't have the funds to buy him food or medicine while other people spend money on whores in night clubs and gambling.

May those who died in sept 11 rest in peace as well - they never wanted to be part of this tragedy...

May god rest our souls in peace as well because someday we will be dust just like them.

    Amen.

Sad day for humanity as a whole.

To think people would stink so low to make a point, and in the end not make that point at all.

    Long Live the Free World.

Yup, she is going to be bad, real bad. She can speak, read and tie her own shoelaces which W Bush cannot but trust me she'll be a rotter.

I'm starting to worry already, even though she will not be in for 15 months I'm almost as worried about her coming into power as I am about Bush and his final 15 months remaining in power.

Either way, we're in the shit.

Why does nobody remember the day the american president/military started slaughtering the people of Iraq. That seems like something much more horrible and much more worth to remember all the poor iraqees that have died.

You lost 2 buildings 6 years ago. You've bombed countless buildings in Iraq and guess what. You still haven't found any weapons of mass destruction and it's been proved (george bush agreed) that Iraq (as a country) was not responsible for 9/11.

Iraq is so much worse than it originally was. Sure saddam hussein was crazy and did horrible things. But more iraqees die everyday because of american military and because of the chaos they have been put into compared to what saddam did. Have you seen the state of their medical facilities?

I've been to iraq this year and when I ask them whether they would prefer to go back to saddam hussein or stay with what has been created from all the bombings their answer is always the same. They would prefer saddam hussein, as horrible as he may be, compared to what it is now.

You thought the world was going to end? Well we have ended it for the people of iraq and yet you complain about something so tiny compared to what has happened to iraq.

The thing that really annoys me is my country followed you in there even when we had massive protests against it. Countries like mine Australia, America, England, etc. pride ourselves on being a democracy. But in the end the money wins.
America needed the oil. Bush needed to repay his weapon/war machine making friends who give him huge "Donations". It also doesn't hurt that george bush (along with my countries leader, etc.) are racists and against the islamic releigion.

(I would just like to point out that I'm not blaming any of the people of america or england or australia but rather their leaders.)

but see, here is the difference...you don't live in the USA, so anyone to you is bad...afterall, they are put in place by the illuminati, right?

I am in the USA, proud of my president, and going to do my best not to get that fascist socialist shrillary elected.

You are right for once d16, for a change.

The trouble is that all these scumbags like Bush and Clinton are nailed on to control your country and because your country is the only remaining Super Power then idiots that run my country, like the former disaster Tony Blair and the new fool Gordon Brown will always support your country (pretty much the only country that will support yours as all the others i.e Germany, France etc. can see through all the BS) so the UK will always back whatever wanker you have in power, be it a Bush or a Clinton.

You have seen my post about how you have been under a Bush or a Clinton for about 27 years, I can't be arsed finding it but if you PM GTech he'll have a link to the post in his detailed files. :p

I'm really scared at how the US Administration is fu*king up the world at the moment, and even more scared at idiots like you being proud of the US Administration.

Yeah, I remember 9/11 very well... I was at the "Dynamics of International Terrorism" course at Hurlburt Field, FL. Talk about irony.

Better yet, I was stationed at Hanscom AFB, MA at the time... flew out of Logan airport just two days before the hijackers did.

In my entire life I don't think anything hurt so much as that day. I remember for days and weeks after, people walking around with pictures of their loved ones asking if anyone had seen them. They knew they were in the building, but just had that glimmer of hope that by some miracle they would come back. I will never forget.

BTW the "never forget" slogan is used all the time for 9/11 but what context do you take it in?

    1. Never forget what those b*stards did to us?

    2. Never forget what it is like to have your country attacked?

    3. Other

I would hope it is number 2 but plenty of people did forget since they backed Bush to attack another country right after. One which has never attacked or threatened to attack the US. :(

Never forget indeed. 9/11 was the day the US Administration took leave of its senses. A Saudi plot resulted in attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq. Afghanistan because that's where Bin Laden was based. He also had/has bases in Pakistan but we won't attack them. Oh dear me no, they're our friends - plus they've got nuclear weapons so they won't be easily bullied. Iraq - well they had to be attacked because that Saddam was so RUDE! He didn't know his place, he was constantly dissing America so he had to be taught a lesson. Plus he didn't have nuclear weapons so he was a soft (ha ha) target.

Never forget. Future Americans will look back at this period and shake their heads in disbelief.

Regardless how many feel about this war, Jeremy, I would hope none would forget. I certainly won't. I worked Sears Tower, 82nd Floor, 9/11; and daily felt in my bones, as a small reminder, what those beautiful, lost people went through on their way out of this life. I will never forget, and I will never forgive.

To say this doesn't mean we must agree on the course taken since then.

"Tiny?" I don't understand the kind of mind that diminishes one tragedy by reference to another. It may be "tiny" to you, but not to the mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, siblings and children of those who perished on that day. It was a national tragedy to all Americans, and, I would say, to the world.

It's not a fight. It's a slaughter of an innocent country who doesn't have the strength to stand up against the american military.

Do you think you are stopping terrorism with the war in iraq? No terrorist groups have been stopped and instead you are creating more terrorists be destroying and de-stabilizing a country.
