How to copy and paste the Amazon code in the blog

Hello,I am posting my request thinking this is the place to seek the guidance
from the veterans
I have signed up as affiliate of Amazon,but finding it difficult to copy and
paste the HTML code onto the template of blogger's template,to begin my
work.But it is not happening .
I request any of the Amazon associates to tell me steps I have to take to
copy and paste the code.The blogger is the latest one ,it is not a classic.
I will be much obliged for this help.

Just put in an HTML/Javascript widget in the sidebar and paste the code in that.

 

Goto >>> Layout >>>Add a Page Element>>
then select HTML/JavaScript and click Add To Blog
then paste the HTML/JavaScript code on it.
Select the position you want to put iton your template

 

is this for Wordpress? It always worked out for me, when inserting the Amazon code in a post. If it doesn't work, try disabling the WYSIWYG bar.

 

The OP does say it's for Blogger - the new version of Blogger in particular.
