I would wear it but unless the domain name is very catchy and leaves an impression, people will have a hard time remembering it.
I guess it would be a bit embarrassing unless you own a site like myspace and you could wear a top saying I'm a myspace junkine
I would wear one, why not? it's only a T-shirt. I've done clothing advertising before, I was advertising a forum, I got a couple of lurkers but no ''real'' members if you will. Although sometimes it can be very good, all depends on the content of your website I guess. Thank you, NashTax.
Sure if you can get enough people to wear your shirt... But consider the cost of a shirt plus shipping compared to the cost of a submission. Even if you do send your shirt, you cant be sure the people who you send your shirt to will wear it.
Depends on your product and profit margin of course. For example, if my product is priced at $500 and my profit margin is 800% then I can afford say 20 t-shirts to go out per purchase!! Col
T-shirt advertising could be effective if done properly i.e. nice design, nice colors, easy to remember domains. But You would need to give away a good number of t-shirts for proper advertisement otherwise it could be a bad idea.
Now that's interesting and interesting idea but the problem is how would you keep track someone is wearing it or they have it in their cabinet You would need a body tracker LOL
Maybe paying them for each photo they take making a public idiot of themselves wearing the tshirt. People seem to be doing far more pathetic things for $1 these days.
Yes it seems to be effective but here in India i dont thing it give any output to promote sites by clothes. it seems to be some design thats it..
And I could provide you 500 photos daily wearing that t-shirt so you would be paying for all of them? if so that's easy $$$ weekly. This idea won't work unless you've a group of trusted individuals and you can pay them on monthly basis for wearing your t-shirt regularly.
Good idea but will be bit odd to wear T-Shirt with our site's URL printed on Hey btw I have a Spare White T-Shirt and Ummm You know what I'm thinking of
Photo needs to be taken in front of a public date display (e.g Times Square etc). .. Aah screw it. The logistics are spiraling out of control! But then again, lots of photos of some dude making an idiot of himself in my tshirts would make a cool website I used to be a screen printer - I used to average around 80c per shirt (100% cotton w/ single color print) But it would be almost as cheap (and way easier) to get an online company to do it. The more you get, the cheaper it gets.
For a poker site that I used to be a part owner in we made up t-shirts with the site addy on them and wore them for good luck to poker tournaments....does that make me a nerd? 8) lol
