I write my own scripts for my sites. But if I couldn't (or couldn't be bothered) then I'd be using BANS. Plenty of people are making good money from it, I just prefer to nerd around with PHP and code it all myself :)

Does anyone out there have for example 5 BANS sites on 1 domain i.e. multi sub domains on one domain ?

    Does it even matter ?

It doesn't matter, you can use subdomains for that.

Good job if you really earned that much. But if you post that just to sell that software by your affiliate link in your footer.. .. then not bad too..:d

IT's easy to prove, just try. Don't buy the software, do your own script (search this forum, there are plenty of threads where i give an url with example code provided by kerosene), and then build a couple of good niche store. Create a good dose of targeted backlinks, and see for yourself the success. Don't expect of course to win so much money in the first months. Indexing and rankings allways take time.

wiiman, you still haven't answered some important questions?

Did you make money from a single niche site? How long have you been building the site for? How old is the site? Do you get free organic traffic or is ir PPC traffic?

Do you go after every niche possible and build multiple sites i.e. build small ebay and cj store sites and try to get ppc traffic?

Do you market your sites to get organic traffic? If yes, how successful was it? How much traffic did you get and how fast did you build your organic traffic? How did you market your site? Social book marking, link buying, etc?

How much traffic did it take you to earn $500? What is your ctr like?

All these question can be helpful to determine what rest of us are doing wrong.

    Thanks.

That's the trick, build every possible niche you can (if you want do some keyword research and try to find a good niche without many competitors). Build hundreds or even thousands of niche stores/sites. Then you don't need ppc traffic. Why spend money if you can have everything for free? Use the power of social web2.0 services, there are dozens of good ones with big PR, and niche related (tags). You just need patience. Of course if you think you can spend money, use ppc, but you'll loose some of your income because of the ppc expenses, and you don't need that.

Web_dev, the secret is only one, build "thousands", never give up, and have patience.

Can you elaborate on this part? Are you talking social book marking?

Building a niche store site is not a problem for me. I have build a experimental store site using CJ web services in the past. But i didn't get anywhere with it because i couldn't drive traffic to it. Now that's the part i would like to solve, getting traffic to a non-content site.

Any good resource i can read up on building traffic to cj/ebay store sites?

You don't need any resource web_dev, you just need to use social web2.0 services, which include social bookmarking services, yes.
Use onlywire to bookmark any new site to 15 social bookmarking services. Then create single pages at squidoo, zimbio, launchtags, koonjo, buddymap, associated content, myspace, facebook, mybloglog, digg and many more. In that pages, use the rss feed of your site/store, and make all the pages related to the niche. Then add the site to free webdirectories, in the category related to the niche of your site. Put comments in blogs that are related to your niche (don't spam please). With this you'll create thousands of backlinks to your sites, all within the niche of the site. After that, just wait, with time you'll get the traffic that you need.
