For McDonalds it's about average payment. They didn't have many rules when they hired me - I read Adsense is much more strict to follow their rules...

It's good money depending on your lifestyle? I kind of want to make at least $3k a month so web design is just a hobby (fun part is that my future career's salary will increase as the years go by). Although I know that some people really do leave their jobs if they can get enough revenue from online profits, mostly from blogging or eBay.
Great job mate. That's more than minimum wage in some cities - as some people make $54/day with one job offline making $6.50 an hour.
