Well, I'm confident user of many web services. I like google apps(spreadsheet, gmail, etc.), and now its time to check latest Microsoft Translate(as a part of their web apps expansion). I will use one short and well known word S..t( 'Govno in Russian') and translate it from Russian to English. So what we have? Google Translate (http://www.gooogle.com/translate_t): VS Microsoft Translate (http://translate.live.com): As you can see on pictures above Microsoft didn't translate the word correctly(it just printed russian word in latin words). That is why new translate feature in their Live project is 'S..t'. I would appreciate if you could to check this word in your language and share results in this thread.
Just checked Yahoo translate (http://babelfish.yahoo.com/) it's S..t also. why? -because it's based on the same engine provided by systransoft.com
well, It depends on what you need. if you need to translate 'accidentically' - such online translators are fine. But if you need something more 'poweful' I suggest to browse download.com for 'translation softward'(thare are many of them)
hi knightkrm. I suggest you to use google translator - its much more powerful then others. also you could try freetranslation.com
