What do you mean by social book marking sites????How can they help in increasing traffic to the blog/site???what have we to do to get traffic to our blog?
social bookmarking sites are like www.digg.com they are sites where users (the public, free registration) bookmark a website link online (rather than in your own personal "favourites" folder). Other people can then see this bookmarked link and add it to their own list. This is how it grows in popularity and you get lots of traffic. The recent links with the most bookmarks get displayed on the main page where everyone goes to find the best stuff on the web = insane amount of traffic. So, make great content on your blog (so people WANT to link to it). Add digg and del.icio.us buttons etc to make it easy to bookmark (minimum effort). And enjoy the traffic
let me give you one simple explanation . Do you save links in your "favorite" folder of internet explorer or in "bookmark" folder of your mozilla firefox. what if you change your pc? You wont be able to access your bookmarks , thats why sites like digg , stumbleupon came into existence . You can bookmark sites and they will keep record online. Hope this helps .
