Well guys I have a plan to run a unique website and I just want to know if any of you is interested to teach online. I am not asking for a specific subject. Please reply if you can teach/tutor online live for an average of $10 to 20/hour and what subject? Examples are languages, math, science, CAD, programming, webdesign, forex, legal subjects, taxation, economics, etc, etc... This could help me to identify if my plan is beneficial to all or not and if how strong is the positive result. Thanks
the problem you have here is you dont really have a way of ensuring the person actually knows what he is teaching. for example i could tell you i can teach web design (which i can do) to the full recommended standards, and in a professional and proper way, when really i might know the smallest amount about web design, and may be teaching somebody something that is actually totally the wrong way to do things. am i making sense?
You have a point but it depends on the learner's requirement. The system will be done through reverse auction so it depends on the learner to pick his teacher/tutor. Teachers will be rated through feedback system so I think no one could fake his/her qualifications here.. yes, you make sense..
What exactly do you mean by saying "teach online" ? Is it like a video - conference with people eager to learn something or making a tutorial video ?
where is the website ? Have u got everything ready ? You can tell them how to make money online . Trust me you can charge hell lot.
The website is not ready yet and the whole plan is still in my spreadsheet. Am just soliciting opinions... Online teaching means through skype, paltalk, or any Im with video chat... depending on learner's/teacher's preferences. It's not a tutorial video or software. It's live teaching.
