Hello, I would like some brutally honest feedback for my site at: CashQuests The site was started almost one year ago and has undergone numerous facelifts and redesigns since it was started. It used to be hosted by blogger but has since moved on and I've gone so far as to spend money on having parts of it redesigned. I've never been able to get much feedback about it so I'd like to hear the wise words of DP members. I'm interested in promoting the site so if any bloggers write a decent response, I may purchase a review on your site. Thanks for you time!
I like the site I like the Logo and the Simplicity that u've maintained What I dont like is the Back Ground Color I think it would look better if u use bit darker color for the Back Ground Good luck
Thanks. I've kind of gone for a style that adds a lot of "white space" to keep it simple. However, changing the background a few shades may make a nice border for the content too.
Site is very nice.. It would look better if you remove the bottom-border of the current tab. Like when you are viewing homepage, remove the border below the Home tab.. And the content is too much and he page is too long to scroll. But layout is cool and attractive..lol
Thank you. I'll test out removing the border when I alter the background color as I think the border works well to frame the content at the moment. With a different bg color, it may not be necessary. I'm not sure what you mean by "the content is too much"? Do you mean that the posts are too long or that there is too many on the homepage?
Long posts won't be a problem if there are fewer posts in a page. So, as you have long posts you can cut off the lower posts because many people will not bother viewing the lower posts. lol
Thank you. That's a good point. At the moment there are 10 posts on the front page. I guess I could cut this back to 5 which would help load time and make the site flow better.
Heh! I love the site I think it has a very clean and smooth look to it. The first thing that caught my eye was your awesome logo. Shiny is good... Shiny... Is good Great Site! I'll give it a thumbs up!

Hi kumiko83 Here's my review for what its worth. The site is taking too long to load even for a broadband. It could be split into multiple pages or sub-domains so that all posts can be read. Your "your site reviewed" page is compact. Your community readers could be spaced apart. There are no way for readers to leave comments. overall site gets 6/10
Hmm....loads quickly for me. Maybe you need to upgrade your broadband? What speed are you on? You're right that there's no way for readers to leave comments, but you can't do that on Google.com either. Why do you think that I need comments?
I like it. The big block words catch the eye! Its too long though. The rest of the site works fine and looks fine though! RV
I like the colour scheme, and layout of your site. Light, clean and easy to read. And in particular, your subtitle..' Remarkable people......' In terms of the main content that faces me when I first go to the site I'd prefer to see something that directly addresses what my needs might be, rather than a chunk of self-promotion. Something that draws me in .... Member nwk mentioned in earlier post that he/she thought the 'content was too much', and didn't really reply well when you asked what they meant. I'd agree with their comment. As I scrolled down, it read rather like a massive chunk of 'stuff', hard to digest. I'd say break it up a bit, possibly rewrite some to say why some of those things, features/benefits are really of benefit to the person reading it... How..? Why ?l

To the person who 'lands' on your site, it's not a blog, just another site. I'm not proposing anything to you beyond what I've already said, and which others have mentioned. Time for you to assimilate that, and come up with your own changes. Have a look at this site. Freshwatermusic I haven't finished it yet. However you'll notice that it is very readable, and is very much focused on what the visitor would want to read and see about what is on offer.
