like ruby said you need traffic for adbrite so advertisers will want to buy ads from your site, if your zone has only been up a few days or weeks even there not going to want to buy from you.
RON ads sometimes do alright but it's no replacement for adsence.

What is CPM? I have over 1000 impressions so far and more than 5000 ad views and 7 clicks and I got payed only 0.81$. What's this? Am I missing something?

CPM = earnings per 1000 impressions.

If you have $0.81 CPM that's pretty good.

I think you do get $7 after 1000 impressions. The thing is, all the impressions you have aren't from the same ad. On my site the ads change frequently so I guess it's the same with you.

    there not fake,
took me a few months to get anything from them but after tinkering with the zones i finally started making money with them. fast forward a few months and now they account for about 70% of what i make online.

You mean we need to tinker with the zones to get our impressions count? I don't think you are answering correctly there. If the impression counting is not correct then I doubt it is an issue with making money or not.

no the zones, try different colors, tags, category's or even try approving just the ads that are relevant to your site.

So true my friend, so true. Adbrite has pretty looking system, but as far as advertising and publishing goes, it is pathetic.

I don't think colours really matter since I have using the same settings as what I used for Adsense. The performance should at least be similar or less but definitely not zero for most days.

Thouroghly useless.. I've tested them at 3 separate times now for my main website freediskspace.com, which is a myspace resource site and for a few of my other sites - highlandrags.com, welovepool.com, and mustangtraderonline.com. Initially things looked very promising but then revenue went down steadily every day until it was at about 1/20 what is was in the beginning WITHOUT me changing a single thing.. I have no idea why - maybe it's related to whether or not i should opt for choosing my own advertisers ( i did not - i let them choose).. Anyway, a true waste of time and effort (another subject that is too long to get into here)..

No great shakes from an advertisors perspective either.

I 'bought' an ad over 3 weeks ago, and it is stil "pending review".
Plus you have to watch them like a hawk to make sure your ads are actually running...

This is the ads from the other ad network display when AdBrite can't find any suitable ads to go with the content on your website, which is pretty much 99% of the time :p

    AdBrite sucks, end of.

Tons of ads are showing up on my site paying me around 40 cents per cpm. But my site has high traffic and its a game site/entertainment site. So it pay pretty good if you have these type of sites. I suggest you stick with adsense if you don't have high traffic.

I'm earning money just fine from Adbrite, although if I had adsense on my site it will be booming! :(
