A good idea on making money - no cost, no maintenance - only startup work

Below is a good idea which I dont have time for. Do it, and if successfull, you'll make money.

Here is how it works. Sign up on an affiliate program that sells video downloads (legally). Whenever you sell a download you get a comission. Download all their trailers and upload all of them to google video, youtube, metacafe, etc with a link in the description saying "download the dvd here:<your affiliate link>". Wait and see how it goes.

Can the links you post in video descriptions be live links? or is the user going to have to copy and paste the link in the browser?

 

on google video + youtube you can. I dont know of metacafe and the rest

Great idea! You can use a website called Bubbleply to add text to videos. That would really increase conversions for this as the link would be right on the video.
