    Ok I've heard about Joomla and BANS but what does everyone use on here?

    I have a limited HTML knowledge and would like to expand my online earnings. I currently have adwords campaigns directing traffic directly to affliate links although it has made a profit of around £650 over the past 3 months I want to try smthing else.

    Any recomendations? Do i need to buy one of these products or somthing simular and if so are there any recomendations as to which, I guess I also needto buy some hosting and Domains?

    Any help very very much appreciated

    BANS etc are all great for a quick fix. Personally, I don't use any of them - I write my own scripts to pull in eBay auctions. Once you know how to do it, you can do it in your sleep :)

    No you don't need to buy any script if you're willing to do a few hours of 'learning'. You can easily make your own custom eBay script just like BANS or the Joomla plugin - but most people don't bother and just buy BANS.

    Yes you'll need a domain and hosting to run your own site with BANS etc.

    Has allways, keresone gave you the best advice. Try to program your own scripts, once you do it, the sky is the limit.

    That is the main reason I am trying to learn PHP, so I can start doing my own stuff and not relying on others. Can save a lot of money that way.

    Where do I start?

    Would love to learn but all I have is very very basic HTML. What program(s) do I need, do I create HTML pages and then insert php or is it a simular language, just need a nudge in the right direction I think

    A few months back, I spent a couple of hours creating this software as an experiment:

    It's nothing like as complex as any other software I've made to use with CJ (including eBay API) but it's often the one that generates the most commissions for me. I've no idea why it does better than the others, it might be the viral element maybe.

    As I said, it was just something I wanted to try and it only took a couple of hours to write it and set up the page but it's actually making a regular $100/month or so now without any promotion. It's definitely worth learning a bit of coding as you really can do anything ;)
