Before you start replying, I already know how to delete the code from my site, and my account from google analytics doesn't dissapear just because I delete the code, it remains there and it bothers me because I already have plenty of sites. Does anyone in the world know how to do it?.
What's the point of deleting the account? Just remove the code and forget you ever heard of google analytics. I haven't been able to find a way to delete the whole account
The official answer is that you need to remove the code and then contact analytics support: http://www.google.com/support/analy...=27284&query=removing+my+account&topic=&type= Dylan

More to the point, phoenix, please let us know what effect this has on your situation as time goes on. I like that you're doing this (I'm pondering it myself), and am curious to see what happens.
What is the point of deleting your Google Analytics account, your google acount will stay their for ever.
For the same reason (basically) that you don't let the IRS keep your books: because you DON"T WANT such close scrutiny. Sure, you may be squeaky-clean, but any irregularities , even inadvertent, will only work against you. Would you want a cop driving behind you wherever you go?
