When I was younger I never clicked on ads.
But now since I'm a adult and am willing to spend money online..
Yes I will click on ads if they interest me.

lol..I think sites that cater to teen demographics using adsense are wasting adwords advertisers revenue becuase they will click on the ads maby but probably really low conversions to sales for the advertisers.. ;)

I can't believe seeing this kind of thread... it's crazy!

Don't click on those ads unless you're really seeking such offers... Both advertisers and publishers suffer :( I feel really sad seeing this.

Couldn't be better said , and you might get that person banned if you kep clicking on hes ads more than a few times a day ;) , so only click on them if you are interested in those ads , and yes i have seen quite few interesting ads in last few weeks :)

I also have the same thought, but some times the ads are so relevant that we will click it automatically

I wouldn't do it for you, because before, or now, in various ways, I still pay for advertising like newspapers, flyers, etc..

When I click, I'm thinking of the right way to treat the company paying for the ad.

So I only click on the ones that I find interesting for something I may want.

It may seem that way, but when I paid for GoogleAds, once, I disabled my ads showing up on relevant content sites.

    An easy fix.

So if ads are showing up, its the people paying for the ads that are wasting, not the people displaying.

Generally I click on ads (adsense and others) when they pique my interest or I am looking to buy in that category. If I visit a site regularly, I have on occasion sought out and clicked an ad more purposely as an acknowledgment of the value of the site.

Beyond membership sites, economically, advertising fuels the Internet. I make money from advertising and others need to, too.

This is very risky. You are risking to be banned from adsense because google will see that you click more than natural. People have claimed to have lost their adsense account because of doing this.
Its for sure that if you are click bombing someone and have an adsense account yourself you will lose the account.

yeah you would be happy if some people clicked on your ads, but if you was the one paying for each time that ad is clicked, then you wouldnt be so happy would you? we have enough click fraud to worry about, and people doing it really gets my goat!

3 words - dont do it!

Nope... not me... even if I am ready to buy. The Big "G" has us publishers so paranoid about getting our accounts banned.

    Yes

There are negative complications for the "general" publishers in the long-run.

    Probable scenario

    1. Joy clickers clicks our ads
    2. They leave and don't buy
    3. Advertisers are not happy with the conversions
    4. Advertisers doesn't want to advertise anymore
    5. Few advertisers tends to low PPC bidding competition
    6. Low PPC bidding result to lower bid price
    7. Low PPC cost will be passed to us (Publishers)
    8. Revenues continuously decrease accross the board
    9. I resign!
    10.

    Now, think about that.

I do click on Google ads but very rarely. I will only do it if I am really very interested. I have respect for the advertisers (since I am one of them) and I would feel like I was cheating them (and I would be) if I clicked insincerely on one of their ads.
