Just want to ask you guys if there is any way to submit your site to 2000 directories automatically?

And the article directory sites too...

unfortunately not. It would be extremely hard to find something that submits to 2000 for free. Oh and automatically just increases the price.

How about 100 to 500? Is there any free?

Or could you guys tell me how to increase backlinks but not doing it manually? Getting a couple of thousands backlinks I think could not be done manually...

I'm quite suprised one of the hardened directory verterans hasn't pipped up with:

"Automated directory submissions is the work of the DEVIL!!!!"

If you're looking to get automatic disrespect and distaste from directory owners then go down the automatic route; you'll probably find that the majority of your submissions will get rejected anyways! The best solution is to try a semi-automated tool and/or work of a list like directory critic.

Well thanks for that advice. I'm just asking and the decision to do it is based on your comments here...anyway, I think it takes a little more longer time to build thousands of backlinks?

One thing I noticed on directory sites..there are many pending submissions than approved..this thing discouraged me...

Whether you use an automated software application or not you'll still get those pending links; this is however good as it means you will gradually achieve backlinks over time. If you suddenly get a few hundred links appearing to suddenly you're highly likely to end up in the sandbox - then nobody will be able to find you!

If you suddenly gain 2000 backlinks it'd look pretty suspect anyhow, not sure if that would affect the value of submitting in the first place.

How do owners know if a submission was made manually or with something like digixmas ?

I just tried this software for the first time yesterday... and the approval's are rolling in already.

And maybe by limiting yourself to submitting a 100 per week... would that help keep you out of the sandbox ?

That could be because that owner really cares about what they are approving. I am behind on my own directory project. I made one post here about it and the submissions came in way too fast for me to keep up. PLUS the fact submitters can not seem to hit the proper categories. Most sites could fit several categories... yet they end up submitted to something totally unrelated.

lol... in the same amount of time... I was able to submit more than 100 with the "children's toy" whereas, with that other one... I was still trying to get it to run because of a strange database error. Then when I did get it running... I couldn't get past the first 5 submissions.

I still plan to further test both of these.
