I dont think it should have been jail, I think they should have been fired though. When you work at a restaurant you are not allowed to tamper with the food like that. Regardless of whether the customer is a cop or your ex girlfriend or whatever.

I have witnessed people doing terrible things to cops food when I worked in restaurants years ago. If I were a cop myself I sure wouldnt eat at a lot of restaurants.

 

Lots of sodium is really bad for one's health but the action taken against that was a bit too extreme imo

 

The punishment was crazy. I wonder what would have hapened if the person had done that to someone's food who wasnt a cop?

The cook should have been fired and that should have been it.
