Do you BOOKMARK or DIRECT type in, URLs

I notice alot of discussion about misspelled names, redirects, long domain names vs. short names and other various URL type posts.
I personally only bookmark a site if I know I may want to re-visit in a month or two or maybe once or twice a year.

I never, use bookmarks to go to my most visited sites, ie: forums.digitalpoint.com.
For me it is just easier to type the name and do the drop down of recently visited sites. That's just how I do it, neither right or wrong.

What about you? Do you use bookmarks, social bookmarks or do you just type-in the name to the address bar?

Bookmarks for me.

 

I do both. I have some sites that I have on bookmark, and I have some sites that I type in every time.

It's about 50/50. And I don't really have a method of choosing which is which either. I just randomly bookmark some, and don't with others.

 

i do both, ive used entire top part of the firefox for my bookmarks though

 

I type it in if I can remeber the url otherwise its bookmarks.

Where is the option for both? If the url is too long or it's a specific page at a site I bookmark it. else i directly type in the url

I have bookmark all my most visiting page..Yahoo, gmail & DP forum is on the first three list..

 

I used to bookmark sites. I have around 300 bookmarks in my browser.

Usually if we type in address bar the browser will show the list of URLs from history. So we can select that.

I use both Bookmark and manual typing in address bar.

I am not closing DP in my browser. Every time I open my browser DP automatically loads

I bookmark sites. I have a lot of sites listed in my bookmarks. For some sites I don't need to use the bookmarks but it is handy for the sites that I visit occasionally.

 

I'm a rabid bookmarker. I've got them all organized so I can find everything easily. I can't think of the last time I actually typed in a URL.
