How much does it cost to advertise on DP?

Hi all,

Could anyone tell me how much it costs to get an advert shown here on DigitalPoint? How much (roughly) would I be looking at bidding for CPM/CPC and would I have to create a banner image ad?

I assume you do this through AdWords, so if anyone has done it please let me know how it went and how you did it.

You can start with a 2$ CPM rate minimum because thats the rate i bid when i advertised @ Dp via adwords.

Yes, you have to create your own banner.

 

I think you don't have to, as there are text ads as well. I would advise you to PM a mod and ask him/her.

 

Well usually if its text ads, then its on a CPC basis.

Set up an AdWords site targeted campaign and start with a reasonable CPM bid. A year or so ago to get decent exposure on DP was about $5 - $6/CPM although that's probably changed since then.

You should be able to use a text or image based ad. I've seen both here many times.

 

That's a lot of money. I wonder how successfull this will be.

 

Wow, a $5-$6 cpm is pretty high, considering that the banner is stuffed at the top corner of the forum.
