I recently seen msplinks show up in my search terms and later found out that myspace is sending all out going links to that site and redirecting that with a 302 redirect which is not passing on any PR. which means that msplinks is showing up for completely irrelevant terms and it's just links back to the myspace home page if you click it though google.
Can you give an example? I've known that most myspace links redirect through msplinks.com for a few months now. But it is surprising that those pages are now showing up in the serps.
try image hosting page 2 video and image hosting page 2 any common terms used on myspace profiles should be starting to show up.
You're right. I got it on page three. And clicking on the link redirects back to myspace - so they are making all those links count as internal links. Sneaky.
Notice that if you type the msplinks URL into the browser directly, it goes to the site [picoodle.com, for example]. But if you click on the link from Google, then msplinks redirects you to Myspace url. If you open the url pretending to be Googlebot, it shows that msplinks uses a 302 [temporary] redirect, which is why Google displays the msplinks url instead of the destination url (even though googlebot knows that the url is only a redirect to another place). Seems that the 302 hijacking problem is still a problem at the plex. http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum30/28742.htm
