After all that typing you still never explained why my opinion about Bush is the battered wife syndrome.

You also did not explain why you couldnt just post saying that you disagreed and then say what your opinion was. Instead it was all this stuff about battered wife and self lother and attention seeker.

Unsubstantiated opinion? What do you think an opinion is? An opinion is not based upon undeniable facts - if it were it would no longer be an opinion. An opinion is based upon whatever information and experience a person has. Yes, I still believe Bush knew the truth - you wont convince me otherwise and I dont care to convince you either.

Are you familiar with the term, battered wife syndrome?

    That upsets you, doesn't it?

Thanks for confirming. Facts do not matter to you, only the message matters. There's really no point wasting time on you then, since your mind is closed.

Anti Bush does not equate to Anti American. I am very American, do I have to like Bush?

Where did the hippies come into this?

No I am not familiar with that term.

No it doesnt upset me it makes me laugh.

I just told you what an opinion is. Opinions by their very definition arent facts. I sit here and tell you what an opinion actually means (though I am sure you already know) and you stretch that out to say that facts dont matter to me. Same old song and dance.

Oh and here we are several posts later you still havent answered my questions. But thats ok really, I never expected you to.

EDIT --> WAKE UP PEOPLE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO AGREE WITH BUSH TO BE AN AMERICAN

LOL! Heavens no. That's why I took the time to point out some others that don't like him...to dismiss your ridiculous notion.

Basically a wife that is abused by her husband, but refuses to seek help. At some stages, may seek police help, but then decides not to press charges. She believes it's "all her fault" that her husband beats her and that if only "she was a better person" it would be different. And the wheels on the bus go round and round.

    Cool. A sense of humor!

Did you have reason to believe I asked for further clarification?

As long as it doesn't upset you ;)

    I like this one:

WAKE UP PEOPLE (OR SHOULD I SAY SHEEPLE?) YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LOVE BUSH IN ORDER TO STAND UP FOR YOUR COUNTRY

I like that one. How about you?

Actually I did like that one. I agree with it wholeheartedly.

Ok so what does my opinion that Bush knew there were no WMD have to do with the battered wife? (And of course my opinion on that matter does in no way mean that I do not stand up for my country - I DO)

You and your hero sound like British loyalists before the American revolution.

Bush is not the King, our government has done a lousy job. All of the people so concerned about people pointing out the failures of government, post a list of what this administration has done that is positive.

Are we winning in Iraq? Did they greet us with candies and flowers? Do they even want us there?

Did we capture Bin Laden or shut down Al Queda?

We're 700 million into this, and there is no end in sight. Anyone who understands a little bit of history knows that these wars without clear and achievable goals will only end up bankrupting a nation. It's a frickin war of ideologies, and we have the hubris to insist our ideology is right, while we occupy other countries and tell them how to live their lives.

Anyone see the irony in this neo-imperialism?

It's the exact reason why America came to be. What we're trying to do in the middle east is what the British did to us.
