I have been running a website now for more than 6 months, and when I search link: splashgame.org there's only 2 listings, though I have links from all my website's (listed in google and cache is recent) but there are no listings of urls from my other sites to my main website.. Is the link: function only update once a year or something?
I take it your using google ? google do not show all links to your site using the "link:", your better off using Google webmaster tools which is updated about 4 times a year before the PR update or using one of these tools. http://www.smartpagerank.com/pagerank-backlinks.php?domain= or http://www.iwebtool.com/backlink_checker
Google dose not shows all of your backlinks using the link:www.url.com so try to use the webmaster tools, or switch to google site explorer for more results.
Google search only display a random sample of your links,if you want to see the real number of your links create an account in google webmaster tools.
