Thank you for that, it is very enlightening,

I try not to judge, so hey there maybe hope for me yet :D

    As for
I don't have to go to church or do bible studies inorder to live my life in a Chrisitian way, having been baptised I believe I'm a Christian - you may not think so but from what I have read, your are not able to make that judgement.

What I am trying to say is that there should be far more tollerance of others lives and their beliefs. As a Chrisitian I have always thought that its how you live your life and how you treat others that is more important than how often you visit church or read the bible.

I have seen so called devout Chrisitians who are always at mass, always pontificating about how good a Chrisitan they are then they go and behave in appauling way to others, using violence and intimidation to get their own ways.

I atteneded a faith school, at times some of our so called religious teachers were brutal in their behaviour to the children. I have seen nuns physically assault pupils, throw pupils down stairs, revel in and abuse the power they have - yet they read the bible and attend church regularly and are seen as true Christians.

Those experiences in my formative years taught me that what the Bible said and sometimes what I saw going on in the 'Chrisitian' world I lived in were not necesarily the same thing, for this reason I stopped going to church.

My not going to church doesn't mean I don't believe in God, it doesn't mean I am not a Chrisitian, all it means is that I have sought and followed my own path of Chrisitian ways and I am happy and content that when its time for me to 'meet my maker' I can hold my head up high and say YES I tried my best to live life in a tollerant, forgiving and understanding Chrisitian way.

Post disclaimer: My following opinion can be misconstrued as an ad hominem logical fallacy, it's just my opinion and I currently have no stats on hand to back this up, so if you'd like to debate one of my posts, please refer to the bottom of page 9, or one of my other 3 posts in this thread...

With that out of the way...

I agree, from my experiences, many religious followers are quick to judge and protest, while conveniently ignoring all their misdeeds... Just look at all the priests touching little boys... These are the same men that are preaching about how homosexuality is destroying our society... There's a word for that...

    What is it?

    I forget...

    Oh yeah, hypocrite...

China has now got more males than females, so maybe gay sex is the only option in china for some :D

i think it was in his wet dreams about having all the women on the planet

men try to convert me when they find out i am lesbian. and men try to bang me just because i'm a woman. they try harder if i am nice to them too.
ever thought it could be a male thing? you know, men and not gay guys, just men in general at fault?

try life as a woman, you'll soon see it is males in general, not just gay guys.

Yeah, but I have yet to hear a valid sound argument for why gay marriages should be banned.

I think that gay marriage is something that should be between a man and a woman

I think it is more likely that someone is a "fag" if they think it's any of thier business where some guy puts his penis.

I don't see how someone who claims to be straight can take such an interest and have such strong opinions regarding another mans penis. Think about it.

So if you're for straight marriage, then you're straight?

I support gay marriage but I'm straight. I see nothing wrong with it.

    Even animals are gay.

Homosexuality has been around for a verrrrryyyyy long time.Dunno why its an issue these days.

Gay Marriage is no more heinous than being gay in the first place. Unless you attach a lot of symbolism and meaning to the state of marriage because gay marriage is no more about gay sex than gay's who aren't married and live a homosexual lifestyle.

The real question is, does the constitution provide the same rights, privileges and freedoms to gays as it does to heterosexuals? If it does, then there is no debate. The largest group that seems to have issue with gay marriage is the Christian right, and since I am for separation of church and state, I'd rather we determine what the rule of law is, and abide by it.

You need to keep that gay stuff to yourself and in the closet where it belongs or get yourself out to San francisco or the Village. Don't ask, don't tell is the offical policy of the US military.

That's only a problem in America, where liberty and justice for all is a Truth, except for gays, blacks, jews, etc...That's BS. I'm a liberal fag then, because I'm for liberty and justice for all, something that will happen even in the USA one day...
