I am surprised on a forum dedicated to adsense adds and revenue sharing that there are not more posts dedicated to how much people are making through the revenue sharing on this forum. Do you have separate channels set up? Are people making nice easy money from posting on a forum where they are passionate about the subject. Or is it just a clever gimmick which gave the forum it's notoriety in the first place and is now not very effective. Thoughts and opinions please.
Most people who use the adsense revenue sharing here earn maybe a few cents a month if they are lucky. It is not a way of making quick easy money and to make even a few cents you need to make a thread that will get lots of views and replies etc.
Yeah..I have a different channel set up for this, but despite a decent number of impressions, i have zero or one clicks at most per day. Yeah..its a terrific place to dicuss your issues and get information from some real experts out in this field. I am really imprssed and enjoying my stay here
I haven't had a click from DP yet, and I don't think many of the DPers (including my self) click on ads alot.
Logged in users are not show ads after 1st posts... only a link unit.. but the guest who come here after searching are shown two ad units after the first post so if you need to make a lot of money from DP.. you need to focus on the issues related to common webmasters..... you need to start lot of threads and post accordingly.. Most or all of the digitalpoint users are webmasters and they need to generate revenue not from DP but from their site...
i don't think anyone gone rich through DP adsense . Think about it, there are 50.000 members, add that to the number of threads, posts, views etc and you'll get something like a apple split to a 1000 kids. No one of them gets anything.
It used to be pretty effective for me. I earned $87 in a single day once, but I haven't seen a single penny since then, sadly.
Gr8, It means you have to post something quality like content which people wants to read , Thats a pretty good amount for a single or some clicks. i have seen many fellows here got even $7 click or more. This feature also gives motivation to the users to post some quality threads as well as adds the reputation popularity to the forums.
That was last year, wasn't it? There was a period of 2 or 3 months when many people saw a big jump earnings from DP. Wonder why that was.
I can't know becuase When I try to put the CHANNEL string into the the box it DP says its invalid or something. I dont understand why SoI just have my PUB and no channel. Anyone know why my channel won't work in the DP ?
