I have a blog which I am going to translate using Global Translator plugin for WordPress (a plugin which I really recommend).Anyway, how do you guys promote such blog. I mean I cannot understand any language except English and Italian. How do you do to get links to each and language version? Any tips would be appreciated
I can't believe that any automatic translation will be up to much. If you're serious about presenting your blog in other languages and promoting it to native speakers in those languages, you need a proper translation.
Are you just trying to get the translated articles to be cached by search engines? I haven’t tried the Wordpress translator plugin, but the Joomla has a few translator plugins that work with spiders to cache your page in multiple languages. You can use one of the Spider Test tools to see if that is the case for the Wordpress plugin.
