It's official Google has opened up a can of whoop ass on directories

Never a truer word spoken. Nice to see someone can see the wood for the trees, most people on here are STILL not getting it. It's called denial.

I've noticed he never actually addresses an issue. He sort of speaks in "koans".

I analyze things a lot, and watch as people just post themselves into their own traps, and then make note. It's quite amusing to say the least. Maybe it's some sort of 'gang' related ploy hahaha.. who knows..

Indeed. As Brett Tabke found out when in a pique he disallowed all bots including Googlebot and found that his site had vanished from Google. You will recall it didn't take him very long at all to beg Google to relist him.

Unfortunately for you "can of whoop asses" , the penalized sites are making it back in rankings ....i know this falls hard on your ears, but i love to see you in pain.
Moreover, just for adding to your pain, directory business has never been better. It's not usual....it's BETTER.

Possibly the end of gaming, scamming and unsavoury business practises but maybe the being of an industry that has a genuine service to offer.
