    Be your own expert..
    Try different placements, try different colors - test, test test.. then, keep what works the best.

    in general, most members report that large squares in the upper left or center of a page with colors blended to match your site work best.. but, test it for yourself to find what works for you.

    true...I agree. What wont hurt is getting a second perspective as clean and blended doesn't always translate to the best CTR imho. Also as webmasters I think we sometimes over analyze our own sites =P
