Help me out: Who has the best DP Signature? (and we'd click it)

    Hi.

I am thinking of re-writing my DP signature... Need something simple and yet convert. Any suggestion? Or is there a specific user's signature you adore?

For me, I like @Game Producer signature.

    How to create PR6 website
How my site traffic climbed to 35,459 monthly uniques

These provide a good description of how I can improve my own websites, and high changes I will click on it. I guess this is the sales folks say 'MAKE A OFFER'.

    Any others?

I assume the custom wordpress design and high ctr adsense wed design are the services you are trying to promote?

Maybe a very short description of one of your success stories might be helpful.

ie. We took xyz.com from a CTR of 2% to a CTR of 42%. Click here if you want know how!

How your signature looks, is as important as what you write there.

Many DP members are signature-blind; they don't even read what is written.

You should make the best possible use of colours and placement to make it attractive.

How do you find the placement that you use Sachin?

Does the red link on the left get the most clicks? Or the group in the middle?

Ya... I'm signature-blind too.... I wanted something for my profile image so as to promote my product or services.. but the only downside is that it dun direct to the product or services. Hm... i guess it still can help to build buzz..

Red is definitely the color that I'm not blind too. Placement I dun it matter too much. Hm... placement.

Not really sure about that. I have rented the signatures and don't have the traffic figures.

My guess is that the red one gets more traffic. However there can be various reasons for it - it is red, it is eccentrically placed, it is a "PR6" or maybe just because it is the first from the left. :p.

I figure the signature links that have the words "sex", "earn money" and "free" get the most clicks. It's just a thought. :)

One idea for you is: provide an incentive to people to click on your signature and perform an action on your website. (Could be commenting on your blog, subscribing to your newsletter etc.)

This works really well. Much better than the usual stand-alone hyper-linked signature with no call-to-action.

I'm going to go construct a landing page for the link "Earn money with free sex." Just watch the cash roll in.

Colors are primarily important and fonts too....especially a bold font somewhere in the middle of the statement....try putting your signature in a central position as well..

The main things that you have to focus on is trying to make it catch peoples eyes. Even though it may catch their eyes, they will only click on it if it's something that they are interested in. For example, if someone is looking for cpa networks and see's my signature, then they are more likely to click on it no matter what it says. As long as it is a sig that is straight to the point. The short the better I say.

If the person is not interest in cpa networks then it doesn't matter how I write my signature, they would never click on it most likely. So it's about targeting really. Writing in the same topic forums as your signatures niche helps a lot and if you own a website, then you are more likely to be interested in that topic anyway for wanting to start a site of that niche.
