    Hi all,

Am sorry for the real nooob question and everything but hey you have to learn somewhere don't you lol.

Can someone tell me how to get Page Rank up on a domain/website what you need to do how long it takes how much effort money needs placing into it??

Is it possible to get it up using a vbulletin forum which is your index for your site.

A detailed explanation if possible would be very much appreciated :D

    Thanks

    Rick

You need QUALITY back links, as many organic ones you can get.

Always make sure they are as relevant to the context of your site/forum as you can make them.

There is a direct correlation between the number of links already on a page and the amount of benefit your site gets from the link. Couple this with the PR of the page the link is from and you get an idea.

So a PR6 page with 100's of links is probably not as good for your site as a PR4 with ony 2 other links.

Obviously a high PR link is of far more benefit to your site than a lower PR site with the same number of links on each page.

There is a lot to learn and just when you think your getting there, Google has a habit of changing the goal posts.

    Good Luck

It's not completely true. 2-3 links from pr 7-8 will set you at PR6. This,or you can spend months building 10,000 or pr1 and PRO links.
