You can say nothing but good things about the United States but that does not make you a patriot. As a citizen that loves this country I consider it my duty and my right to speak out when I feel the administration is in the wrong. That does not mean I love my country less, in fact, it is the love of my country that drives my concern. Maybe you would be happier in a Communist country GTech, where being critical of one's government is not allowed. You better move quick though as democracy has a funny habit of winning out over communism.
Good, so you acknowledge that you have nothing good to say about your country, that virtually all of your posts here are constructed in a manner to give aid and comfort to those who do hate America, and that you are not a patriot, because according to the *real* definition, do none of the things required to fall into that definition. I'm glad we can agree on that. Will you be changing, or will you continue to seek to put your country down until November 2008?
You obviously have an agenda to attack those that love their country but dislike the administration and it's policies. You are about as anti-American as one can get.
One day you'll prove me wrong, and actually say something that reflects love for your country. Any idea when that day will be? I'm sure not seeing it. Surprise me. I dare ya! Start a post with something good about America and defend her.
Why don't you get off of your couch and go defend your country in Iraq if you believe in your administration, but it seems your prefer inaction and consider posting rhetoric in a forum "defending" your country.
I served my country when you were in elementary school. My youngest son is serving in the Air Force Why don't you get off your ass and go back? You supposedly went, then came back and started selling your country out. You support an America defeat. Use your own logic and go over and help out those you used to fight. That's basically what your logic boils down to. Let me know if you ever start a post saying something good about your country. Let me know if you actually start a post "questioning your government" instead of selling it out and making accusations. Fair enough?
I don't "go back" because I do not agree with the foreign policy of the current administration. I left the military because I don't agree with that policy and did not want to be a part of it. If you agree with it and support it, you should be over there fighting your enemies as you put it. You are the true sell out and we all know it.
You should be over helping those brave mujahadeen you now support. Sounds to me like you just couldn't handle it, or got kicked out. Now, out of rage, you turn your back on your country. And to think, you are supposedly in a position of counselling Veterans
Oh please, so now I support the mujahadeen and got kicked out of the military. That's some pretty creative posting there GTech. You continue to prove you live in Fantasyland. I'm waiting for your next post where you call me a terrorist and ramble on about Alex Jones.
Life is so much better with GTech on ignore. He can say all the crazy stuff he wants about you, and it doesn't have to interfere with your right to an opinion, to be independent in your thoughts, and to love your country in your own way. Try it, you might like it. oh, and VOTE RON PAUL!
RON PAUL MEIN FUHRER! Uh, I mean... Ignoring people because you don't like what they says is basically showing you choose self-imposed ignorance over other views. Tunnel vision is okay if you live in a tunnel, but out here in the real world you'll get broadsided. So far I am split between good ole' Huckabee and Ron Paul - as they both support abolishment of the current income tax system.
That is a good thing for both of them...my problem is that I don't think Huckabee is known well enough and RP is a nutjob.
Huckabee was my governor for a while. Also, he's faring better and better from the debates... I'd vote for Huck. Also Paul. And yes, a Huck Paul 08 ticket. I think Fred Thompson may putter out personally... I've watched him a bit now and he gets kinda flustered when he talks, and has to be coached somewhat from what I see when he does make a good speech... when he starts getting all flubbed up in a debate I think people may begin to look around for a new savior. However, if I am wrong, and he figures out how to stop being caught off guard, he may fare well. Poor McCain had to go and be a politician and be all wishy washy. I liked him. Tancredo is... blah. Hunter is a nobody. Guliani and Romney are basically trash in my opinion. I like neither of them. I wish they'd drop out now. President Romney or President Guliani? Those give me budget, tax, and otherwise mushroom cloud nightmares. Almost like the ones with Obama and Hillary, except with the two republotards I don't wake up screaming in a cold sweat.
Well... Breaking news, status uncertain: CNN: Ron Paul vs Huckabee Round 2 (A debate featuring your two favorites?) There is an unverified story about CNN sponsoring a 1 on 1 debate with Ron Paul vs Huckabee ('pro-constitution' vs. 'pro-endless war') ~~~ To all: Q) Why do people think an individual objecting to invading other countries is 'anti-American?' A) ...? Q) How can you have 'freedom and liberty' without the freedom to 'enjoy' a rational discussion regarding important, sometimes deadly issues? A) ...?
Have you seen any of his other posts mate? I thought he was the latest d16clone at first (or was that DevilHellz? ) so many members of the "crazy gang" it's so difficult to keep up these days. The gang is so large these days I think we need to keep a file on them to keep up with the insanity.
Ron Paul is highly respected, even by people who disagree with him. Ron Paul is more literate than 99.100099% of everyone else on Earth. Here... Before saying another uninformed slander, please, choose a single thing you disagree with (from his own writings) and rationally explain why you object? or... Feel free to admit you like something you find. Congressman Ron Paul: Archives
