Has anyone here joined the military to "fight the war on terror"

If you joined the military to "fight the war on terror" it would be interesting to hear the story of your experience. A few people here seem to be for the "war on terror" but have not served in the "war". It would be refreshing to hear from someone who is for the "war on terror" that actually joined the military to fight that "war".

 

Ah that's true. I've joined the military, Army National Guards, and I haven't been shipped over seas at all and hopefully I won't have to:S. I've joined to get me out of the problems I was involved in and to better myself in general, we all have our own reasons...even thought they all say to help fight the war on terror.

 

How about someone who left military/government service because this farce known as the war on terror? Does that count?

 

this war on terror needs to get bigger, because terrorist are winning around the world, forget iraq for a second and think of pakistan, afghanistan, lebanon, palestine, thailand, india, phillipines etc, these nations are all losing the war against terror....terrorist fundamentalist are just growing and growing

Not even a post listing their debilitating diseases that prevent them from getting off their asses, swapping their nice carpet slippers for combat boots and getting over to fight the neocons BS "war."

 

There are many here who serve as cheerleaders. Some for one side, some for the other side. It's quite clear who they are.
