would i be allowed to do this?

    on my site im making im gonna have a search engine that uses googles results. would i be able to start an adwords type program for my site and display the sponsored ads on the google results? is this legal?

    No, you can only put link units on a search results page (from a sponsored search) And those types of sites in Adwords are not particularly well liked by publishers so you might find yourself in many people's filters. Depending upon how you write your ad copy, you may also get yourself reported for LPQ violations.

    If you are using the Google Adsense Search, ie, monetized search, you cannot put ad units on the results page. Only link units. And advertising search results pages in Adwords is not exactly something that makes for a good user experience when the person clicks on the ad.

    An easy way to accomplish this is too sign up for the google coop. You can use googles search engine and tie it to your adsense.

    You can not scrap search results from Google, their lawyers would probally just ruin you for it. You could signup with Google Coop, and do it the legal way, with the same results.
