wow thats pretty cool but the last 1 just generates random words & and the first variable is the length of the sentence & the second variable is the number of pages it should cover. I think, i am not too sure.
:/....Google is your friend The first one.... It has to do w/ not being able to create a folder w/ the same name as a port....Try it with AUX, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, PRN or NUL....None of em work The second one... Its a bug in notepad in XP where if you create a sequence of words with lengths of 4,3,3,5 respectively, you end up w/ unidentifiable characters. Go ahead and try it, "Jenn got the boots".......In some cases, the bug is bypassed though The third one...... Its a function to create sample text..... like "“The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" which contains every letter in the alphabet....It can be used for designers who wish to give a preview to prospective clients. Most have moved on to the "lorem ipsum" text though so...*shrug* Anyways...sources of information.... amazing ;d this was from old time ago ! and microsoft said that "Con" Keyword reserved to the windows opersting system files
it is a just a spam mail that is going around guys. the name con is a system parameter or property and it is not magic. just like if any one know programming and you try to use int or string it gives a error as these are variable types. that is all.
Thanks for the info. I would like to add that even after that text phrase is unreadable in notepad because of this bug, you may open the same file in wordpad and read the text.
1) Creating a new folder invokes the DOS command "Copy Con <foldername>". So, there's probably some error with "Copy con con command" 2) Nothing happens, everything's normal (Windows Vista) 3) Nothing happens, everything's normal (Office 2007)
good work! but am finding the second one happens only for the first time when text document created. i.e., if you erased all text in a already created text document and added 4,3,3,5 words .. above bug doesnot appear
Amazing but true. The first did not work for me. I'm not sure if its because I'm using Vista. But all the others work.
