Registration system suggestion.

I have just read this thread, and i have an idea of my own similar to it.

I believe there should be a invitation system, which can be used by moderators to track who is being referred by who.

This will help the forum by preventing dublicate accounts and tracking people who break the rules.

It will also prevent people who "impulse join" forums for no reason, and will help to decrease the database size a bit.

This has been proven to work with another site, demonoid.

there is an invite system, look in your profile, it also shows you how many people you have referred

 

I am talking about preventing people joining who do not have an invite.

We're not going to require that people have some kind of invite to join DP.
