Have a website with more than 15.000 click in the month but the CPC is falling and now is about 0.03$ for a click. How to increase the CPC ?
By changing your keywords but...If you do that you may decrease your clicks, just try to build more traffic.
It seems like you're getting pretty good traffic. I don't know how you can raise your CPC, but I do think you should do affiliate sales (if you're not doing so already) to capitalize on the traffic. Perhaps you can also direct that traffic towards a new site that is related to the site you have now.
yes, the traffic is good but the income fails from >800$ to now <500$ .. The click rate is about 3 % - 4% the CPC is wrong
Change up your text, look at your ads and see if there is something in common with your ads and your text. Say if all your ads have the word "Free" in them, well then remove/replace that word from your text and you should have new ads, maybe higher paying ones.
1 - CTR shouldnt look like its scammy i mean if its 100% lol they might think -_- you doing something wrong 2 - Change your keywords but dont ruin your content or you might loose traffic 3 - Try to remove THE BAD ADS why i say BAD as but not low? Because many people dont look at this as a normal user view, they click on ads that seem to interest them, an ad that makes you 0.03 cents but gets you like 10 clicks is better then an ad that is dull and gets like 1 click? and makes you like 10 cents? If i have more tips i will post
The site is a classified ads site, the users put every day the content, so changing the text is something that is not (easy) possible.
You just put less ad units. If you have 3 ad units try putting 2 or even 1. According to this experiment and many other Less is More!
You could offer "helpful tips" to sellers and tell them to use certain words rather then others to make their offers stand up. Instead of saying save money, say invest in my product or something like that. Just thinking.
Its interesting you say this. I have only 1 add unit on the part of my site with the most traffic. I get clicks worth between 3cents - 25 cents. Interestingly I do much better with adsense for search. For instance yesterday I had a click worth over $1.50. My highest pay so far with the smallest amount of traffic I have was $9.85... So close to the $10 mark.
The key is getting less impressions and more clicks. Even a low paying keyword can yield higher results than a high paying keyword. Its all in the impression to click ratio and targeted keyword. Google thinks well, this guys page is getting lots of clicks and not many impressions, which means to the advertiser that its a site or forum in which is more likely to get a sign up other, so google pays you well for it.
They have a program which checks proxy and ip info, you can't get around it, so they wont think hes doing anything and he'll be just fine. I've had a day where I got 600%, and I still got paid . Just make sure not to click on your own ads, that's when you get in trouble, and they have enough money to pay programmers to make very sophisticated stuff so dont even try and get around it. Just comply, do what they say and you'll be fine.
You can make it so the ads displayed are targeted to the words in your meta tag, even if the content says something else entirely. It will ignore all words if you want and dsipaly those only relevant to your meta tags. Edit: Added. Ignore: You can tell Google Adsense what areas YOU DO NOT want to be read by Adsense by using(weight=ignore) in the starting tag, like this; <!– google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) –> Google says it may take 1 to 2 weeks for ads from the sectioned areas to show up, so be patient. Remember, they don’t guarantee anything! But it works for me. Accept: Place this in the section where you have high paying keywords. So if you find a high paying keyword in one of your members or guests comments, you can section target those sections by using the tags below. <!– google_ad_section_start –> <!– google_ad_section_end –> Make sure the targeted section has more than 3 lins of text. Also bold and italic specific keywords inside the section target. Also, google sometimes pulls from the H tags. <H1> <H2> etc. They pull from the Meta Keywords and Descrtipion generally located in the header.php file of your blog. Also, add title tags to your links (yourwebsite.com" title="this is the title area">Your Blog Blah Blah</ a>). Also add title tags to your images (<img src="blah.jpg" title="relevant stuff here">.)
