Buy sell strategy on a website has still not become popular in india...they are not exposed to paypal or other instant web money services to sell out their goods.May be Bigsamindia can try for a new venture. You can target specifically to cinema,jewellerys and other goods which indians like very much.

I would build .in if my content were in the native indian language and .com if i would target a more international audience. Also a great idea would be if you build your site on webdomains. i.e. bombai.cityreviews.com; newdelhi.cityreviews.com etc.

It depends on your target market. If you plan to market to indians only, try .in if you want a global audience, try .com
