Ocracoke-Island.net - 600-800 uv's daily/$4+ adsense a day

We have decided to sell it as we no longer have time for it due to our other projects at the moment.

The site currently gets about 600-800 unique visitors every day. Back in June we realized that we had some AdSense revenue that we were not tracking at the time and would total somewhere between $3-$5 a day so we start going thru our list of sites and found this site. We optimized it for AdSense and included a channel so we could track progress.

Where is the traffic coming from? The adsense impressions don't quite add up with the UV numbers you are claiming?

 

Mostly search engines. Just check the referrer list at the bottom of the monthly stats page. The stats page is a direct link to our webstats so you have full access to check whatever you would be interested in stats wise.

I'm not exactly sure why the adsense impressions do not show the same amount of impressions as the stats show, but I have seen this happen with other sites of mine as well.

BTW I forgot to mention that all the written content on each the page is unique. It was all written in house by a member of our staff.

 

Why the drop in stats recently?

 

About the yahoo answers pages - does the site update them automatically or do they have to be added?

 

Swapw - As I mentioned above, we just don't have time for it anymore. We have other larger projects getting started and all the work associated with those plus running our other sites, we are just too busy. You can see how this has great potential though if it's promoted properly.

lapsaJ-Yes there is automatically updated content throughout the site. There is a local weather page as well. There's no need to add anything to this site unless you wanted to add more hand written/unique content. That always helps.

 

Im not sure I understand something.... how come your stats shos that alot of url from your site have been, like :

How do this content is generated and spidered ? Since it is not accessible from home page ?

 

That was from a different script we had running awhile back. When we put the new site out there we redirected those indexed pages to the main page.

 

They do bring unique content and are not redirected to main page.

 

The search engine keywords look strange to me...most are not related to the site theme...am I missing something here?

 

Nice site, but there appears to be no content on the Shopping and Camping pages.

Also, Camay123 I realized I was wrong when I told you earlier that we had redirected them to the main page. I was thinking about another site of ours. With this site we left the original script we were running on the site so this sale comes with that script as well. If the new owner does not want it on there we can remove it prior to transfer.
