Do you ever "PM for details"?

I've noticed that on a lot of forums, when someone is offering something some of them won't actually post any information about what they're offering. They'll just say "PM for details"

Personally, I don't. If they don't put forth the effort to post all the details in the thread, then I'm not putting forth the effort to PM them and find out. Plus, I feel if they really wanted to share the information, then they would just post it in the thread.

Every time someone pulls the "PM for details" card I think they're up to no good. And it gets on my nerves.

Do you ever PM them for details? Why or why not? (Or in what cases would you?)

 

I don't tell people to PM me for details. In fact, I tell people not to PM me. Of course they still do.

 

Not normally, but if they give enough in their post to pique my interest, I might PM to get the full story

 

I think such posts do get infractions nowadays

I don't really do it much but it's only incase of an emergency but that's not happened much though

 

According to me,persons who writes "Pm me details" tries to increase their post count and this is a sort of spamming the thread!

 

If there is not enough information posted then I pm them for more details.
