I don't think you're going to get an answer from him. His lame "defense" (aka attempt to divert attention by attacking Annie) didn't do so well, did it? I expect he feels safer trying to avoid any more attention.

He doesn't remove the one's I listed (the ones he gives as examples) because they really aren't dup's. They have different descriptions, and that's the right way to do it.

I don't know why he won't remove what he copied from me. Or why he won't at least tell me he'll stop copying from me. I'd kinda like to get on with my hobby and list craft sites but what's the point if it's all going to be stolen? It's a free directory, I'm not even in it for money.

Perhaps he thought he was buying an ODP editall and all he got was a plain old directory editor like he asked for. Maybe he should have said what he wanted up front, then I could've told him I wouldn't sell ODP inclusions up front. IMO he had intentions of bribery, but it didn't work out for him, now he's bitter.... oh well.

Hindsight is clearer than taking someone at his word.

Those that are crooks, swindlers, liars, cheaters, and link pimps have been caught or will be caught both by the SE's and the general population.

Some of us have been calling the spades here a spade all along...only to be ridiculed, red repped, and in some cases banned.

For all the non believers, link farmers, and wanna be big time scam artists...take notice of how things have unfolded in the last few weeks.

Some folks are probably innocent bystanders caught up in the shuffle while the majority are definitely not. I'm sure there is more fallout to come.

Folks "claiming to leave DP" due to this or that changing and not feeling warm and fuzzy anymore...folks selling directories cuz their scared of this or that...I see the ones leaving as being some of the major instigators and scammers since day one or they are the smart scammers getting out while they can make another fast buck unloading their link farm on some follower/worshipper. Who's next? I sure find it very interesting only one of the larger link farm owners/rip off artists has spoken in any of the recent threads.

    I also agree with this...

Pretty soon the 'directories" section on dp will be a ghost town,

What people tend to forget. is that MANY real humans work at google,

Kiss your web 2.0 link farm good bye :)

    You'll see

    The "de-indexing" has just begun..........

Soon there will be nothing but a bunch of old directory names listed on sedo............

why you are always dependent upon Search Engines?

Search Engine Rankings do n't indicate a quality of a site ,they rank a site on the basis of a algorithm only and not on quality!

So I would say directories have great future!

4691 directories have a total of more than 1 million urls

While Dmoz has only 4.5 million listings( may be 3 million urls)

Add Dmoz to other directories and you would have nearly 75% of the web indexed by directories!

O.k lets bet on this topic!!!

If you have nothing to lose and have concrete proof that you're right, would you be willing to bet some money or something else? Or better yet Would you give free permanent links to everyone?

Anyone in support of this idea?

Let me ask you a SIMPLE question....

Would you SUBMIT your site to a BANNED BY GOOGLE directory?

I am thinking beyond Google and Search Engine's

but some of you are not! Most of you are still dictated by the order of the day!

You have to think different from each and every one!
