If I am advertising photography services and market words: photographer, photo and photograpy. Should I put them all in the anchor texts or should I make 3 ads, with 1 of those words in each ad?
Try to use keyword suggestion tool if what keyword to target. Just use your targeted keywords in your anchor text and also insert your keywords in your content.
Photographer and photography are better than photo, which is impossible to rank for and competes with lots of unrelated sites like photo sharing, photoshop and so on. You want people interested in photography and photographers. If you provide local services, try ranking for these keywords plus your city or country...you'll find it easier to rank for those and you'll still be helping your main words. Do you have a specialty? "Wedding Photographer" "Artistic photographs" it goes on and on. Check terms with Wordtracker and select the ones that receive the most searches relative to competition. Variety in keywords is, well, key.
Vary your ads, but aiming for "photography" in general may be too competitive. As already suggested, try narrowing your topic/keywords.
Hello, For example if you are from California, you could add photographer in Califonia, or your city, etc and try to rank well, becouse photographer could be hard to rank fast jakomo
Advertise your diferent pages with the title of those pages (or the most importent keywords) in your AD headline.
You guys didn't understand my question. The question is, should I use all of my keywords in 1 anchor or should I spread them out in 3 ads/3 anchor texts. This has nothing to do with the keywords mentioned, which are just examples. How will google see the keywords? If google sees those 3 as "photogrpaher, photography, photo" then it's awesome. However,if google sees those, as "photographer AND photography AND photo",then it's a bummer. Hopefully made it more clear this time
You can use a combination of keywords. 2-3 keywords in anchor text. Don't use the same combination everywhere or your site could get penalized for anchor text spamming.
So,I don't have to use "," or anything like that, right? I need to be able to rank at all the keywords, not the combination of 3.
My "alt" tags for images help me out too. (ie. "San Francisco Photographer") Plural and singular in the text has proven effective for me in a matter of days. "Portland Landscape Designer" & "Portland Landscape Designers"
use keyword suggestion tools to find out your appropriate keywords. then put those keywords in Title TAG. And then you put the words that's like in Title TAG in your anchors.
The main keyword that you want to rank for. If you want to rank for "photography", then make sure to build links around it, so you can rank.
