Google full of chinese spam sites!!

The last weeks have been a disaster for my site and this morning it is almost gone from the search for all my keywords :(
What I see now is thousands of chinese spam sites and the old ones brought back again. WTH is going on with Google???

Check out this search: http://www.google.com/search?q=BEAGLES+FOR+SALE+FLORIDA&btnG=Search&num=20&hl=en and you'll see what I am talking about. One of the sites is a redirect wanting to install a spyware removal tool.

This is rediculous and Google needs to fix this crap ASAP!!!! Tired of Google and their inability to index sites and their changes over and over again!!

Maybe I should have said .cn registered web sites.
I don't know what's going on but old spam sites are also back in the index.... Did they restore an OLD backup from 2006??????

Not nice at all. The Yahoo search for that was so very much cleaner.

Why not report the dodgy sites to Google?

My theory - Google is focusing so much on paid links it's screwing everything else up.

Odd I did not think it possible but it seems DP has set certain posters with no follow tags to their member names.

I call that discrimination and grounds for a law suit.

Any evidence on what you are saying?
It is hard to believe that DP would do something like that.

you may get banned if you post information that is wrong and blame on DP!

So, is Google loosing on the search capability?

That is their biggest thing and if they can’t do it well, I think it is time to sell Google shares and stay safe.

This is a great article, especially since I am in the "pet industry" and that's where I see all these spam sites and sites that you talk about in your article!! Great job!!!

your keyword is very not competitive. Why would you want to compete in that keyword? Google only focus on competitive keywords, that's why they want to eliminate paid links. I think I didn't see any big chances in my targeted keywords recently.

This is just one search..... Maybe it is just in the pet industry right now but the whole index is probably full of it....

Yes MikeSwede opened the post with a link to Google which does not have the nofollow attribute applied, while the link I put in my response.

I have a firefox add on which allows me to see no follow attributes applied when I hit any page and which I will now screen shot as further proof.

    Peace!

Sadly the article is from January 2006 and nothing has been done other than me making a few more enemies.

Thank you though for the kind words....those push me to ferret out more of the propaganda and deceit the Google Machine churns out.

I also noticed a huge influx of spammy subdomains!

Two extensions favored by spammers: .gov, and .cn

My traffic was affected too.

I also have that add on in FireFox and am not seeing any no follow attributes in your original post. Maybe mine is broken, but it looks good to me.

It's not you that caused the nofollow, it is who you linked to. See this post where both seochat and webmastersworld are nofollows:

I can't blame DP for not wanting to boost competing sites.

As far as I am concerned, someone needs to hang over at the Plex, especially the one who let this beast loose again......
Don't they ever have ANY kind of Quality Control AT ALL???????

With a little bit of interest they could have spotted it instantly with their PhD brains, right?????? You would think with all their bragging aboiut eliminating spam they would have caught it, but it seems that some kind of filter was removed and now the spam is back :(
