Hi I read a lot in this forums and every body suggesting that read read so on. I 'd like to know what needs to be done in order to get PR 5 or higher. I know you need backlinks from High PR sites but the question is how many of backlinks will get your PR 5 and which PRs you need to link from? and which site are accepting links ?
Any site with PR that doesn't use nofollow is probably going to pass you some PR. The fewer links on the site linking to you, the more PR you'll be passed. A PR7 linkfarm is not going to be as good as a PR5 that just links to you and a couple other sites. There are a billion different combinations that you could use to get PR5, the key is finding the sites that will link to you without nofollow and being able to judge which ones are worth your time and which ones are nearly worthless.
Hello, You need strong backlinks to your site be sure if you are going to buy a link, the domains has a valid page rank, some domains have fake domains, you can check if a domain is valid here http://www.expireddomainup.com/domain-tools/fake-page-rank-detection.html Best, Jakomo
That tool isn't always accurate jakomo. For example, they've listed one of my sites as having fake domain ever since I changed the site structure from another CMS to wordpress (had to use a 301 redirect to do that with the changing URLs). It's as though they assume using it at all means you're using it in a blackhat way. They don't account for that properly there, although most other valid pagerank checkers are able to figure it out just fine. So just be careful not to make an accusation against someone who may be running a legitimate site based on that particular tool... could get you into trouble (not you personally for mentioning it, but for those using it). If you really want to be sure check at least two or three different tools before assuming something's fake. Just as another example, I'm getting the same result for a site I just changed the domain for. The old domain was www.SixFigureWriters.com and it's now moved to www.AllFreelanceWriting.com. Both are showing up there as fake pagerank. The only thing different between them and my sites that have been static for a while are the redirects. There's definitely a major fault with that tool.
Yes, backlinks work wonders, my friend. You need to get quality backlinks from high PR authority sites. Sites like major social bookmarking sites and article directories are examples of such sites. You may want to download a free ebook on how to rank your website worth $97 from this SEO blog. It also talks about what SEO Elite can do.
I've never been sure what the secret was. I've had PR5 blogs that got their page rank within months. I've had other sites that I constant try to promote and build links to, and they stay at PR4.
Thank you all for all suggestions. Which sites are you suggesting that would accept link , article, etc and you have affectedly used. Please let me know if you have a list of them that have worked for you. You can PM . Thanks
It would be good that you get some backlinks for your site and I am sure it will be profitable Cheers
davewashere said it best when he said there are a billion different combinations possible. I'd suggest not to worry too much about how many back links you need and just go out and get as many (and as high quality) as you can.
I doubt if anyone can answer that question accurately as its only google who know their algorithm to award the pagerank. Yeps, they do and now make a search on their importance
I never did anything but ramble on my blog and it got a PR 6. Sadly it lost a spot and is now a PR 5. I'd imagine my rank has to do with the fact I'm using a Wordpress blog and lot's of other marketers with high PR blogs often link to me. But, I've never done anything conciously to try and drive up the rankings.
I have a site that is a pr-4. Im listed in several software directories with high rank and personally have quite a few links to it from other sites with pagerank. Yet when I do a backlink check with google it returns zero back links??? Whats up with that?
