Nuclear attack: What is your opinion

Suppose a terrorist organization overthrows a government and use their nuclear weapon against another country (not yours), Now do you think that could cause a nuclear panic and everyone will start using nuclear weapon against the countries who are not very friendly with them
Or it will be a private matter between those two countries.

 

I'd say people would freak out and there would be nuclear missles flying around in all directions in no time

 

The country thats been overthrown by the terrorist organization is probably going to get it anyway..

 

They would just destroy the nuclear facilities with conventional weapons.

 

That is just not true....

 

Everyone would send nukes everywhere and they'd cloud the skies and run into each other, cause an ice age from the "nuclear winter" and we'd all be frozen and come alive in 3000 years or so.

An unfounded statement followed by a quote that in no way supports what you said? You must be right then!!!

If terrorists overthrew a government and got control of their nuclear capabilities there is no need for anyone to protect themselves by using nukes. If the threat was from nuclear weapons we could easily destroy those capabilities with conventional bombs long before the "terrorists" got around to figuring out what the hell to do and actually get some missiles fired off.

You don't think a bunch of radicals who live in caves could walk in to a nuclear weapons facility and straight away know how to target and launch missiles do you? We would have plenty of time, Certainly enough time to get some planes over there and drop some bombs.

 

I dont believe most countries would be so fast to do a nuclear strike, they would use conventional weapons if at all possible.

 

Better Stop the war..
It doesnt do something good to us it just kill people and destroy community..

 

I believe the US has some form of missle defense in place as does a handfull of other powerhouses. I don't believe that there would be a rush to attack, there would be a rush to defense. I think the end result would be a severe beatdown of the offending country, but nothing more.

They are largely ended, communism is ended in many places it was.

 

Can you name a single country that doesn't practice communism? I'd love to move there

 

I do not think any country with the capabilities of Nuclear weapons would use them and there are so many safe guards in place that no one terrorist group would have the abilities to set them off if they overthrew the government. If the clod war did nothing else, it showed how unwilling countries with nuclear weapons are to use.

 

The sign meant real communism, not the ignorant want to have a country be communist.

Communism has never ended as a whole, but many wars have put an end to their countries communism.

 

You aren't going to use Vietnam as an example, are you? Because it's worth pointing out that within two weeks of america pulling out Vietnam was a communist country again.
