I have an RSS feed that is updated with a new article about everyday. I am not sure if it is beneficial to submit them to as many sites that accept RSS feeds as possible? Is it beneficial, or should I just let people subscribe to the feed on the website if they want?
Can someone saysomething more about RSS feeds? What is this, how does it work and what is it good for. Thanks
Should this thread see any action...my question is about RSS feeds that can be read in html code so google will see frequently refreshed content on a page...and if it can be done...is it a good thing?
I use a program http://www.rssfeedssubmit.com/ It cost about 30 bucks and submits to about 60 sites. Works well and has helped me manage my many blogs.
That is the list I also use Also, try searching on Google for 'Submit your RSS Feed', you'll see a few more useful sites not in this list.
You can submit your rss feeds at http://www.rss-specifications.com/rss-submission.htm where big list is given
If you folks are still looking for site to submit you RSS/XML feeds, i suggest reading this post: List of 45 active sites to submit your RSS/XML feed Hope this helps!
I've used that, but some of the sites are now getting a little outdated. Another thing to do is to fully promote your RSS feed on your site. Don't have it on your site so your visitors can't see it. Make sure they fully see it as they are the ones that are most likely going to want to use it I would think.
