Hi All, I found that I was using checkpagerank.net on almost a daily basis so that I could check the backlinks and ranking of various sites I was working with, specifically when trading and buying links. I've made the search into an Add-on for Firefox and IE7 using the OpenSearch specification. It's free to download, so please use it: http://www.jagoharry.co.uk/new-firefox-and-ie7-search-engine-for-checkpageranknet/ Thanks Dan
I suppose there are benefits to each. I already use search status, but like using checkpagerank directly.
Erm, safe? It's written in XML, so completely. You can view the source here: http://www.jagoharry.co.uk/dls/checkpagerank.xml
Interesting, and would be useful for those using Internet Explorer. I'd check to make sure that it doesn't conflict with other extensions (especially the SEO ones) for Firefox though just to be on the safe side.
I can't install it. "Firefox couldn't install the search plugin for jagoharry.com...... because an engine with the same name already exists"
I have FF and it works great...it just becomes another search engine bar, like google, yahoo, amazon, msn. Thanks for this. I never knew my site was in DMOZ before! Finally something to celebrate! Category page is only PR2, still...
That means you've already installed it, suggested by "already exists". Thank you! It's nice to finally have some positive feedback about the contribution. In future, I won't bother sharing.
