RSS Feeds (where to submit them)

I have an RSS feed that is updated with a new article about everyday. I am not sure if it is beneficial to submit them to as many sites that accept RSS feeds as possible? Is it beneficial, or should I just let people subscribe to the feed on the website if they want?

Should this thread see any action...my question is about RSS feeds that can be read in html code so google will see frequently refreshed content on a page...and if it can be done...is it a good thing?

    I use a program http://www.rssfeedssubmit.com/

It cost about 30 bucks and submits to about 60 sites. Works well and has helped me manage my many blogs.

I've used that, but some of the sites are now getting a little outdated.

Another thing to do is to fully promote your RSS feed on your site. Don't have it on your site so your visitors can't see it. Make sure they fully see it as they are the ones that are most likely going to want to use it I would think.
