does anyone know of a good ad-network that pays by CPM, as opposed to CPC?

im gonna say casale media or cpx interactive - but you need like 10k+ impressions daily on that single front page, can get very hard sometimes since not all visits are seen as impressions

I see what you mean..only for sites that've been established for a while then I guess.

AdSense is always good, but doesn't it pay per click generally? I thought only a small percentage of ads are paying CPM, and you can't actually 'choose' to have only CPM ads. or am I wrong?

I personally like adbrites cpm. They allow you to chose your publishers and really maximize your earnings. i have also use cpx interactive, and tribalfusion, and I really feel that adbrite is better. Just my opinion.

Not sure if this will help you or not, but there is a list with reviews of CPM ad Networks here. I'm using the first 2 on my entertainment site that pay very well and are very reliable.

The clicksor website isn't loading for me, but I'll try later. And I've contacted the adbrite team about registering, because I'm not based in the US so I can't provide a tax ID.

any other suggestions? :) thanks for all the input so far!

PS I can't use adbrite and adsense together, right?

It's worth checking out Tribal Fusion as well. It's best to experiment with a few networks until you find the one which works best on your site.

Clicksor - stay away. Their CPC is poor, and the ads REALLY slow down the loading of your page A LOT at times so CPM might pay a bit more, but you will lose a lot of potential visitors and so forth during that attempt to make some extra $$$. Plus their ads are NO WAY near targeted (at least to me) so not only will you slow down your site, you will also make it look cheap and unprofessional.

Okay. I plan to stick to adsense and kontera for about a month or two and then take a look at whether they're giving me good results or not.

Thanks for the advice :) I probably wouldn't take ads from a site that doesn't load on my computer anyways.

really? so I shouldn't run adsense, kontera, and let's say some CPM banner ad together? (although that might be a bit too many ads for one site).
